Menard Asia has completed the ground improvement for the VVIP Airport Project with PVD and CMC in Indonesia

Menard reinforced the soft soils beneath the runway extension at Rendani Airport in Indonesia with Controlled Modulus Column (KGM) to improve stability and support for aircraft loads.

Menard proposed a solution using Soil Mixing to ensure the stability of the platform during the temporary and final stage of the construction of the quay.

Menard treated a 70 m band along the river bank in order to maintain the overall stability while the fill was raised on in the container area, treated by vertical drain and surcharge.

Menard has completed the ground improvement work by combining the Dynamic Compaction technique with Vibrofloatation.

Vertical drains and DC was employed to treat various soil problems separately for the construction of Changi Airport back in 1980-1995.

The new Phnom Penh International Airport is a top-tier airport which accommodates all aircraft sizes. For it’s soil, Menard employed PVD technology to accelerate consolidation, using heavy machinery to maintain productivity and eliminate the need for client predrilling.
