Menard Asia has completed the ground improvement for the VVIP Airport Project with PVD and CMC in Indonesia

Menard reinforced the soft soils beneath the runway extension at Rendani Airport in Indonesia with Controlled Modulus Column (KGM) to improve stability and support for aircraft loads.

Menard’s solution allows to comply with the design criteria in terms of SLS bearing capacity, dynamic deformation modulus, and subgrade reaction coefficient, for the 12 turbines.

Facing challenging ground conditions, Menard implemented CMC which not only replaced the initially planned RC ground slab but also integrated with a Reinforced Earth Wall.

A villa with a basement and four floors is being built. While the initial plan suggested Bored Piles, Menard's solution used CMC for ground improvement, a tangent pile retaining wall system, and managed pit excavation. Completed in 3 weeks, we optimized time and costs for our client.
