Our Regional Technical Director, Menard Asia. Richard Ong, led the first session of the training on the topic of “Consolidation Method for Reclamation Land”. Richard’s presentation was a profound exploration of the perils associated with reclamation projects on soft soil terrains and elucidated how consolidation techniques can effectively mitigate these risks. Following Richard’s insightful discourse, Cyril Plomteux, Deputy General Manager of Menard Group, took the reins, leading the second session. His expertise shone as he delved into the intricacies of “Soil Stabilization for Deep Soil Mixing.” Throughout this session, participants were privy to an in-depth understanding of the technique’s underlying principles, practical applications in soil mixing, and a collection of compelling real-world case studies. Furthermore, the training fostered an environment conducive to open dialogues and interactions between the speakers and the engaged participants, thus facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas and the dissemination of invaluable knowledge.
This training event served as an invaluable opportunity for engineers in Cambodia to immerse themselves in the latest technologies and methodologies that promise to revolutionize soil improvement practices. It is our fervent hope that the knowledge and skills acquired during this training will be wielded as tools of progress, elevating the quality and resilience of construction projects across Cambodia
