CMC is a technology that is suitable for all types of soil conditions, but its economic benefit shines when applied to soft or medium soils, which are most often compressible clay, silt or peat. It can also be effective for the purpose of building on former waste storage sites and anthropogenic soils (uncompacted fills, heaps). Structures that have been constructed over CMC are road and railway embankments, airports and seaports, tanks and silos, warehouses and factories, commercial and residential buildings, wind turbines, etc.
